How ZeusMix Works
Decoupled 2-Instance Bitcoin Routing & Output Distribution Architecture
ZeusMix is an open, non-custodial transaction routing protocol designed to decouple user transaction origins from destination outputs on Bitcoin Mainnet.
1. The 2-Instance Decoupled Topology
Traditional mixers and relays operate on monolithic servers, creating a single point of failure and systemic risk. ZeusMix splits responsibilities into two isolated layers:
Instance 01 (Ingress Gateway): Public-facing node responsible for handling client sessions, TLS handshakes, rate-limiting, and validation of Native SegWit (
P2WPKH) and Taproot (P2TR) recipient addresses. It never stores private keys or signs transactions.
Instance 02 (Vault Core): Operates in an air-gapped or isolated subnet with strict egress filtering. It dynamically generates ephemeral single-use deposit addresses and constructs multisig transactions with randomized output weights.
2. Execution Lifecycle
- Session Initialization: The user specifies 1 to 5 recipient Bitcoin addresses and selects an execution priority (Cozy Relay ~4 hrs vs Instant Dispatch).
- Ephemeral Gateway Allocation: A dedicated single-use address is created with a strict 60-minute automated timeout.
- Deposit & Mempool Monitoring: Once the deposit arrives, the daemon waits for required block confirmations (or zero-conf mempool detection depending on tier).
- Mathematical Output Splitting: The transaction is divided according to Equal Split (50/50) or Random Split heuristics and broadcast directly to the Bitcoin mempool.
3. Mathematical Splitting Guarantees
In Random Split mode, outputs are generated using cryptographically secure pseudorandom variables summing strictly to 100%. This disrupts automated heuristic chain clustering used by blockchain surveillance analytics.
